2019 Highlights and What’s Ahead In 2020

canva-image-2As we reflect on 2019, Practice EHR took several steps to position ourselves to be more than a trusted solution to our clients, but to be a partner.  From creating new partnerships to hiring new experts that will continue to drive innovative ideas for our clients, Practice EHR is ready for 2020.

2019 Successes

Practice EHR hired Chis Baltas as the chief business development officer and tasked him with our continued growth, expansion and innovation. One of his hires was Karna Morrow, who joined Practice EHR as the implementation manager. She hit the ground running leading the implementation department and providing training and client education. She has already published educational resources for clients helping them understand two important changes from Centers of Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) that medical practices need to know about for 2020.

Two partnerships in 2019 helped Practice EHR expand services with podiatry practices and allied health practices. Through integration with Bako Diagnostics, podiatrists using Practice EHR are able to complete labs efficiently from within the Practice EHR platform and improve the diagnosis and treatment of patients. In addition, Practice EHR formed a partnership with TreatWrite, which enables TreatWrite’s patient documentation system to integrate with Practice EHR’s practice management system for a comprehensive solution for its clients.

As CEO of Practice EHR, I have had the pleasure of seeing firsthand the incredible impact our team, partners and clients had on our organization in 2019. We are very honored to have been recognized for our achievements in bringing service and innovation to the industry. Capterra, a free online service that helps organizations find the right software, named Practice EHR to its Top 20 electronic medical records (EMR) software product list. In addition, we were thrilled to take the top spot on Healthcare Tech Outlook's Top 10 Medical Practice Management Solution Providers list for 2019. And finally, I was personally humbled to be named a finalist by D CEO Healthcare in the category of Achievement in Medical Device/Technology at its sixth annual Excellence in Healthcare Awards program.

Ready to Provide More in 2020

This was a great year, with accomplishments that I am incredibly proud of. However, it leaves me and the team striving for more. With new leadership in place, we are growing as a company and holding each other accountable to ensure a continued focus on the best possible customer experience. To better serve our clients, we will provide valuable education from our team of experts by speaking at industry conferences. In fact, Karna Morrow is already confirmed to speak at the New York State Podiatric Medical Association (NYSPMA) Conference and the Ohio Health Information Management Association (OHIMSA) Annual Meeting. In addition, we will be sharing a variety of educational resources and guides to help our clients better manage their practices and improve their day-to-day tasks and bottom line. And because we put our clients first, we are always interested in learning more about what challenges they face while evolving to meet their needs in 2020.

Thank you to all Practice EHR clients and partners for your continued support and happy holidays!
