Practice EHR Announces Electronic Prescriptions for Controlled Substances (EPCS) Certification

Practice EHR is EPCS certified. The certification allows e-prescribing for Schedule II through V controlled substances from within Practice EHR. “EPCS provides a safe and convenient way for physicians to prescribe scheduled medications electronically, and improves patient safety by reducing medication errors, prescription fraud and abuse,” said Khurshid Mughal, chief executive officer at Practice EHR. “We are pleased to announce our EPCS certification and offer e-prescribing to help our clients deliver better, safer and faster care.”
